This series of banana peel photographs began with something small and ordinary, what’s left behind after the fruit is gone. A peel is usually discarded without a thought, yet when I paused to really look, I found a quiet elegance in its curves, folds, and fragile textures. Each peel tells a story of use and release, of something once full of purpose now transformed into an unexpected kind of beauty.
By photographing these overlooked remnants, I invite you to see them differently, not as waste, but as objects alive with form, gesture, and presence. They remind us that beauty is not reserved for what is whole or new; it can also be found in what is fleeting, fragile, and left behind.
